Dan Salvato thinks trap jokes are very offensive
It's ironic considering he makes suicide and sexual jokes in his game
DDLC: Not even once
Doki Doki Literature Club (Alternative titles: Most Overrated Game of 2017, Not A Game: The Game, and 'I'm Not Scared, You Are!') is a brand new amazingvisual noveldating sim created by Dan Salvato that attempts to lure unsuspecting gamers into playing a cute anime visual novel, but surprising them withsuicide and 'horror.' Typical edgelord bait-and-switch writing.
Although it is frequently called a 'game,' it is not a fucking game. The majority of the time spent 'playing' DDLC is either used clicking 'next' or skipping if you want to get through its Encyclopædia Britannica worth of dialogue, and if you think that should be considered as playing a game, you should play the game of reading an actual fucking book. Even after all of that, the rest of the garbage is clicking random words to complete a poem because, just in case you forgot, you are playing a fag in a literature club. Between this and watching paint dry, it's better to just drink bleach.
- 2'Characters'
Plot[edit]
Plot summary
Like all visual novels. There is no plot.
DDLC focuses on the protagonist going to a school and getting indoctrinated by the communists in the classroom nobody uses. Like every single other visual novel, you play as a guy who, in the real world, would have killed himself yesterday, but because this is not real, you get a harem of girls after your nano-sized cock.
Here is an easy to learn guide in case you have terminal cancer and wondering how to spend the last six hours of your life as uneventfully as humanly possible.
1.) Pick anyone:
- Sayori and Yuri become an hero, Natsuki gets deleted off-screen, Monika finally reveals that she's been amplifying their issues to make them less appealing to you and have your micropenis all to herself. If you delete her character file instead, she restores everybody and becomes an hero herself. Sayori then becomes the President and tries to have your micropenis all to herself forever and ever, only for Monika to cock block her and literally delete fucking everything this time.
2.) Pick Monika:
- You can't, unless you installed a mod or something. Yeah, some virgins who consider these girls as their waifus actually spent time to create different mods of this game.
It is also straight up pointless to get to the ending after wading through the shit because if you were stupid enough to think you could at least fuck their dead bodies at the end (even though you spend a whole weekend with Yuri's body and watch her decompose yet given no sex scene), you are in for a revelation for just how much time you have wasted.
'Characters'[edit]
What characters?
Because Salvato is a creativity-deprived hack, he only created four pieces of cardboard cut-outs for this 'game.' They are all uninteresting cardboard cut-outs ripped straight off from other pieces of media, and those that aren't are cliche anime tropes that have been done to death several times over. Similar to other garbage like othergames of the same popularity, fans of DDLC will say all the characters in this game are deep and thoughtful, but people who are not insane and have some semblance of any kind of basic human reasoning abilities can clearly see through this cheap cop-out.
Monika[edit]
Very generic and basic 'perfect girl' that in the end is revealed to be a sentient AI who is responsible for every single thing that has gone wrong with the game. She justifies her destroying the game all for a single motive: to fuck you. Not the protagonist, no, you, the guro-obsessed weeaboo playing this garbage. She's capable of breaking more 4th walls than Deadpool, Undertale and Rick and Morty combined.
Natsuki[edit]
Feed me, daddy
Unfathomably annoying, loli, and also the victim of child abuse. Ms project mac download. Is also an obvious trap (she's strong enough for her size to carry a whole bag of ingredients by herself). She is the only character to die that doesn't become an hero, instead being deleted. A decidedly un-lulzy way to die. Remember, you can just delete her (and Yuri) at the start of the game and nothing would change.
Sayori[edit]
The generic character trope of 'I'm happy with no cares in the world!' that turns out actually being very depressed their entire life. Later revealed to have been caused by Monika, but that still doesn't excuse this generic piece of shit. Somehow more annoying than Natsuki. First to become an hero, and also does so regardless of choice, further enforcing how much this 'game' isn't a game. Her suicide is the first of many 'spooky-ookies,' a good name for this game's half-assed attempts to jump scare you.
Yuri[edit]
Masochisticemowhore who has a fetish for knives and cutting. Most popular among gurofags and 12-year-old boys because of her big tits which conveniently mask her complete lack of character or any type of personality besides being eye candy for the weebs that play the game. Becomes obsessed with you later in the 'game,' leading to many lulzy attempts to spook you with her unrealistic obsession over your weeaboo tumor of a fucking face. Also sends you letters contaminated with her blood, urine, feces and bodily fluids. Her knives are made in China, by the way. That explains why it took three stabs to get rid of her for good.
Protagonist[edit]
Generic faceless blank slate for the player to project on, or that would be the case if the protagonist wasn't their own character that you get to watch and sometimes influence the decisions of. A weeaboo, and somehow has everyone wanting to suck his micro penis. He seems to try to help everyone while remaining oblivious to anything happening unless it's stated in front of him. Probably has a bigger dick than yours. Somehow has everyone wanting his goddamned cock. Unrealistic Expectations.
Scares[edit]
This 'game's' idea of horror is its 'unsettling' atmosphere (static overlay, a heartbeat, maybe some backwards music, i.e., the general shitty atmosphere of terrible horror games), jump scares with spooky faces and 'scary' corrupted imagery, and also just random shit like red vision, character's eyes popping out of their sockets or they having photo realistic eyes and mouth in a hilarious display of absurd horror, not unlike Goosebumps, which is far scarier and hilarious than this insult to ANYother horror game, good or bad.
Project Autism? (Libitina)[edit]
According to several edgy Reddit and YouTube users last Thursday, the entire purpose of this pile of shit is but a bait for the upcoming game coming from Team Salvato's anus. To find out the game's secrets, people such as Mithost and Warchamp7 used their autism magic. Turns out the character file for each of the four characters DOES have secrets, which include:
- A scientific report that disproves the existence of God due to how horribly formatted it is.
- One crappy image that requires Photoshop to turn it into a white girl.
- Another crappy image which turns out to be a dumb teaser written by Monika for the new game.
- A crappy edgy poem written by Yuri saying something about having the third eye opened somewhere on her body.
It's truly amazing how Team Salvato made these people wasted their life to do something this pointless.

Doki Doki Literature Club is not a traditional visual novel. This being the case, the amount of actual endings to the game are different to what the game lets on. You may see the ‘End’ screen a number of times throughout your playthrough, but some of these aren’t endings at all, but more like checkpoints.
The game has three actual endings: a bad ending, a best ending, and an alternate special ending.
Obvious spoilers ahead. This is your warning.
Bad Ending
This is the ending that most players will receive on their first playthrough. There aren’t any special requisites to obtaining this ending; all you have to do is reach the end of the game. None of the dialog options that you choose will affect this.
Since this isn’t a traditional visual novel, you cannot just cruise through the game by reading. Sometimes the game may appear to be frozen or looping, but there’s usually a fourth wall breaking solution. Here’s how to get through some of these segments:
- When the game hints that you can fix something by reloading the game, just carry on playing as normal. To get the bad ending, you’ll never have to reload an old save file.
- After getting the first ‘End’ screen, the game is not over. Simply select the option in the main menu that has replaced the ‘New Game’ option.
- During the scene with Yuri where the textbox keeps producing gibberish, press the ‘skip’ command and wait for some time to pass to advance.
- During the scene with Monika towards the end of the game, she will tell you how to advance. You must delete the ‘monika.chr’ file in the game’s files directory. If you’ve downloaded the game from the website, simply find the file in the characters folder that is located in the same folder that you use to launch the game. If you’re playing the Steam version, right-click Doki Doki Literature Club in the my games section of your Steam library, then click properties, local files, browse local files…, characters.
- When the game progresses to the title screen, select ‘New Game’ and continue playing until you reach this ending.
Best Ending
NOTE: If this is your second playthrough, you will have to reinstall Doki Doki Literature Club and select “yes, delete my existing data” to replay the game.
In order to get the best ending, you will have to find all of the CG images before deleting the ‘monika.chr’ file. This can only be done by saving and reloading at specific parts of the game. Your save states are deleted at certain points, so it is vital that you reload your save before this happens.
Play the game as normal up until the point where you have to construct your first poem. Vito odzyska belle w minecraft. SAVE YOUR GAME. If everything is done correctly, this is the only time you’ll be required to save, as the three different paths split from here.
Sayori’s Path
- At three different points, you’ll have to write a poem by selecting a series of predetermined words. Selecting a word that Sayori likes will cause her icon to bounce up and down. Make sure that a majority of your selections are words that Sayori likes. Here are some words that will work: adventure, alone, amazing, awesome, beauty, bed, bliss, broken, calm, charm, cheer, childhood, clumsy, color, comfort, cry, dance, dark, daydream, dazzle, death, defeat, depression, embrace, empty, excitement, extraordinary, family, fear, feather, fireflies, fireworks, flower, flying, forgive, friends, fun, grief, happiness, heart, holiday, hope, hopeless, hurt, joy, laugh, lazy, loud, love, lucky, marriage, memories, misery, misfortune, music, nature, ocean, pain, party, passion, peaceful, play, prayer, precious, promise, rainbow, raincloud, romance, rose, sadness, scars, shame, silly, sing, smile, sparkle, special, sunny, sunset, sweet, tears, together, tragedy, treasure, unrequited, vacation, warm, wonderful.
- Some time after the third poem, you’ll be asked which girl you’d preferably like to help with the festival. Select “Yuri.”
- When you’re talking to Sayori after hanging out with Yuri, select the option “I love you.”
- Once you get the CG image of Sayori hugging you, reload your save.
Natsuki’s Path
- Now center your three poems around words that Natsuki likes: anger, blanket, boop, bouncy, bubble, bunny, candy, cheeks, chocolate, clouds, cute, doki doki, email, fantasy, fluffy, games, giggle, hair, headphones, hop, jump, jumpy, kawaii, kiss, kitty, lipstick, lollipop, marshmallow, melody, milk, mouse, nibble, nightgown, papa, parfait, peace, pink, playground, poof, pout, puppy, pure, ribbon, shiny, shopping, skipping, socks, spinning, sticky, strawberry, sugar, summer, swimsuit, twirl, valentine, vanilla, waterfall, whisper, whistle.
- After the third poem, when asked who you’d preferably like to help with the festival, select “Natsuki.”
- When Sayori shows up after Natsuki leaves, reload your save.
Yuri’s Path
- Center your three poems around words that Yuri likes: afterimage, agonizing, ambient, analysis, anxiety, atone, aura, breath, breathe, cage, captive, climax, contamination, covet, crimson, desire, despise, destiny, determination, disarray, disaster, disoriented, disown, dream, effulgent, electricity, entropy, essence, eternity, existence, explode, extreme, fester, fickle, flee, frightening, graveyard, heavensent, horror, imagination, incapable, incongruent, infallible, inferno, infinite, insight, intellectual, journey, judgment, landscape, lust, massacre, meager, melancholy, philosophy, pleasure, portrait, question, raindrops, secretive, sensation, starscape, suicide, tenacious, time, uncanny, uncontrollable, unending, universe, unrestrained, unstable, variance, vertigo, vibrant, vitality, vivacious, vivid, whirlwind, wrath.
- Select whichever options you want until you are asked to tell Sayori that you love her. Select “I love you” again. Don’t reload your save!
- Carry on playing until the last scene with Monika. Do not immediately delete the ‘monkia.chr’ file when prompted. Instead, let the dialog play out. Monika will ask you to write a poem for her, after which the dialog will carry on. Eventually the textbox will disappear and you’ll be left with Monika staring at you. This counts as a CG image. At this point, you can safely delete the ‘monika.chr’ file.
Following these paths will net you all of the CG images. Carry on playing until you are taken to the title screen, then select ‘New Game’ as normal. From here, you will be taken to the best ending.
Alternate Ending
The alternate ending is a strange little inclusion that ends the game before it even begins. To receive this ending, launch the game, and before selecting ‘New Game,’ delete the ‘monika.chr’ file. You can now select ‘New Game,’ and after a couple of lines of dialog the game will crash. Launch the game again to be treated to a special screen. The only way to fix your game after this is to reinstall it.

~ Natsuki |
Natsuki is one of the five main characters in Doki Doki Literature Club!, one of the five members of the Literature Club, and one of the three characters for whom you can write poems. She is introduced to play off the trope of small-but-feisty tsundere girl, as discussed by Monika in Act 3.
Doki Doki Literature Club Good Ending
Appearance
Natsuki has pink hair and rose pink eyes. She also has a bow-shaped hairclip at the right side of the front of her hair, and two red ribbons forming two small twin-tails. The rest of her hair is short and she has small bangs to the side of her face along with small locks of hair on her forehead. Natsuki wears the traditional school uniform just like the other characters for the majority of the game. If you choose her path on Day 3, she will wear a light pink ruffled skirt with a black trim, a white shirt with short sleeves decorated with a light pink cat face and trims along the edges of the sleeves. Under the shirt, two black bra straps can be seen.
She is the shortest character in the Literature Club, a feature that results in people commonly mistaking her for a first year. Her short stature is suggested by the protagonist to be because of her being younger than the rest of the cast but implied by Monika to be from malnourishment.
Personality
Natsuki is a brash, blunt, seemingly arrogant girl with a cute, softer interior as a result of insecurity. While she is impulsive and can speak without thinking, Natsuki truly cares about her friends and, even when she has obvious anger issues, doesn't enjoy fights or arguments with people. Over the course of the game, we see that she worries about Yuri and on one occasion, gives the protagonist a note asking him to help Yuri, fearing that if she spoke out then it would cause more arguments.
Her cute interior also involves a love of manga, particularly those in the slice-of-life genre, and baking. She has been known to store her manga collection in the Literature Club out of embarrassment, and while the rest of the club obviously knows about her interest, she is still hesitant to talk about it. Natsuki also likes cute things, like cupcakes with cat faces. She also likes poems with cuter, happier words, though her own poems are still about sad things, such as being persecuted for your hobbies. Her simplistic writing style puts her at odds with Yuri.
Natsuki dislikes being called 'cute', even when she acts as such, or does cute things, and will deny any claims from others relating to this. Nevertheless she is much more comfortable exposing her sweet side once she knows people aren't going to tease her about it. Natsuki hates it if she isn't taken seriously, whether it's her writing, her hobbies, or just her overall demeanor. It is likely Natsuki learned to be ashamed of herself and her hobbies, because her classmates judge her and her implied abusive father, making her abrasive nature a coping mechanism.
History
Initially, Natsuki is cold and not receptive to the main character. However, she begins to be more open and emotional with him as time passes.
While playing her route, Natsuki reveals her friends just think manga is for kids, and that she can't even bring it up without them being all like 'Eh? You still haven't grown out of that yet?' It made her want to punch them in the face.
Natsuki, uniquely, doesn’t seem to have any of her own problems and never meets a grisly end. However, hints are given throughout the story which suggest that her home life is troubled and that she struggles with a neglectful and potentially abusive family, including the ninth special poem and her edited comment in Act 2 about how her 'dad would beat the shit out of [her]' were he to find her manga.
In Act 2, if the player’s poems have appealed to Natsuki the most, Monika notes that the way to gain her affection is to have a snack at hand. She elaborates, saying that her father doesn’t give her lunch money or leave food in the house, guessing that this is the cause of her small stature.
Natsuki’s last appearance in Act 2 is when she walks in on Monday to find the player next to Yuri’s corpse. She vomits, runs away, is deleted offscreen by Monika and is not seen again until Act 4.

You can talk about anything here! It doesn't have to be related to DDLC. And if you want to, you can respond to me.
Hey, you know that June is pride month, right?
I suppose I'm a bit late on this..
The month is almost over already, after all.
But I still feel like I should say something, you know?
It's a very important thing to celebrate for many people.
.. Including myself.

But I still feel like I should say something, you know?
It's a very important thing to celebrate for many people.
.. Including myself.
It's a time for people who get oppressed for who they are to feel safe and proud of themselves.
A time to stop worrying about people judging them, or treating them badly..
A time to get together with other people like them, and feel that they aren't alone.
That can mean a lot, especially when your usual surroundings aren't exactly welcoming.
This month can be a nice respite from the otherwise common hate that envelops people.
Respite that tells them to not despair, or be ashamed for who they are.
You can see how pride means more to people than just stickers and flags..
